Generation 3 Chapter 2
You know the saying be careful what you wish for? In this chapter, Liza learns that hard truth…
The loss of Adan took the family by surprise. Everyone dealt with it in different ways. Just as when her mother died, Cassie turned to her journal.
Baylee tried to give herself a pep talk in the mirror. Most of the others sought solitude crying in the closets.
But life moved on as it always does. Liza and Jon were inseparable.
And could be caught kissing or making out most times that they were alone.
Jon wanted to pull his own weight around the house. He was grateful to the family for taking him in.
He fixed every thing in the house that the ghosts broke the night before. Even if he did have a few mishaps he was determined to prove his worth.
It seems that good intentions don’t always bear fruit…
Poor Jon got the shock of his life… err death?
The family crowded around to mourn his loss and stand vigil at his reaping.
Cassie tried to comfort Liza by reminding her that at least she’ll have his baby. Then Liza admits the truth: She was never pregnant! Jon wanted to get out of his house before his step-mother gave birth to twins and Liza was feeling spiteful so went along with his plan. Also, she just really liked him and wanted him to move in.
Now that the truth is out and she knows everyone will stop talking about “the baby” Liza realizes how much she really did want to be a mother and how much she enjoyed her time with Jon, short as it was.
Amongst all of the turmoil, Nova’s adult birthday is forgotten so she blows out her candles alone.
They couldn’t overlook Liza’s young adult birthday though I think Cyrus wishes they did. Can you blame him?
Cassie toasts her daughter wishing her a life full of happiness.
Then the family gathers around the cake.
Liza gets a makeover while Trey brings along little Tania. Maybe he’s giving her mom a break while she cares for the new babies…
Although she did turn out to be a little trouble maker.
It’s nice to see the siblings together.
Baylee showed off some new tricks.
Despite putting on a brave face for the family, Liza is still crushed over Jon’s death and the child that they might have had if things had turned out differently.
Suddenly, something near the edge of the property catches her eye.
A wishing well?
She decides to try her luck with the thing. Green should be a good sign right? She makes a wish…
And the green light fades to a scary bright red! Then a purple mist starts spewing out of the well!
The mist begins to coalesce into… something? A child?
She brings her new daughter Kellie back to the house. Something isn’t right here and Liza’s not happy about it.
Something about the look in her eyes.
Liza decides that this girl needs to learn some respect! She’s a mouthy little one.
Just as Liza is about to head upstairs to bed happiness fills her. Could it be? It is! Her Jon has visited her!
The two head upstairs to celebrate their reunion, temporary as it may be.
Bloopers, Outtakes, and extras…
When I started up the game they were standing outside like this. That face though!
Moose’s energy bar was almost completely full. I guess he took a nap after the wedding? So he spent most of the night climbing the wall thingy.
After reaping Jon Grim pulled out a drink from thin air. I’m assuming he grabbed it at Adan’s death? Reaping is thirsty work.
Before going into the house Liza hugged Kellie but it didn’t seem to fit into the story because once they got into the kitchen Liza was furious and Kellie was acting all smug because of being happy from others bad emotions or whatever it’s called. Also, the pictures seem kind of strange because I gave her a makeover after they got into the house. I guess she changed her clothes in that time?
I guess Jon just really likes to fix things? Might be nice to have a ghost repair instead of breaking it all. I couldn’t believe my luck of him haunting that night! I figured I’d have to continue Liza and his story in another chapter!
They snuck off for some autonomous bush woohoo! Eek!
Whew! This one was not nearly as difficult to put together than the last one but boy am I relieved that it’s over and we can get back to normal(ish). When I first posted the heir vote it was with every intention of moving Liza out of the house when she aged to young adult. But then I got attached and started trying to concoct some sort of a plan. If she’s staying I’m going to work on that darned aspiration. So what would be the fastest way? Skipping the pregnancy, baby, and toddler stages of course! For those of you who thought she really was pregnant my only advice is to count the sims next time, lol. My plan for the story was that if she didn’t get a child from her one wish I’d pretend like she did and adopt one. But she got so much more! Mwahahaha! Then there was the whole love interest thing. I could have had her “date” Jon sure but doesn’t a ghostly romance sound so much more exciting?! I do feel kind of bad for poor Baylee and Moose. I wracked my brain trying to think of some sort of story for them too but alas after days of going over and over it I just couldn’t. Their relationship is cut and dry. They met as children through the club, started dating in their late teens and married as soon as they aged to young adult. It’s a sweet story in it’s own way it was just told in the last generation’s chapters. I think I’ll skip the stats again this chapter. Baylee hasn’t started work yet, Moose got promoted once to level 2, and Cassie keeps having to take vacation days on days she’s scheduled to work. She ages up in a couple of days but hopefully, she’ll get promoted.
